Take our free quiz — it walks you through 32 paired questions and identifies which of the 16 MBTI types fits you best. If you already know your type, you can browse directly by type on the Shop page.
Each Youquet is a digital image for downloading and/or sharing.
However, we encourage you to apply your high-resolution download to any object or surface available from a print-on-demand store. It can be put on a card or postcard, a mousepad, a mug, a canvas, a magnet, a coaster…
The short quiz we offer, supplied by Dynomight.net, is designed to help you find your type in just a few minutes. While not as comprehensive — and therefore not as accurate — as the complete Myers-Briggs Type Indicator test, it will assign you a Myers-Briggs-inspired type based on your answers to the questions. Take whichever test you feel is right for you, and we’ll be here with the flowers when you’re finished.
Because it’s wonderfully personal (but not too personal if you don’t want it to be) and thoughtful. It shows the recipient you see their unique qualities. Even better, it’s appropriate for all occasions or no occasion at all. (Even if you’ve already given a friend a Youquet, they might have a day when they especially need to feel loved, strong, or valued. That’s a good day to build them a new Youquet highlighting some of the traits they might not see, but that you do.)
Just about everything and everyone! But here are some ideas to get you started.
You can make one just for you — an inner Self-ie — to remind yourself that the traits you judge as your best combined with the ones you consider your worst create the exact, as-it-should-be combination that makes you as uniquely you as you are.
They’re also good as gifts for a birthday, anniversary, Valentine’s Day, graduation, or a no-reason-for-it “I love you” in the form of “I see you.”
Or as a remembrance of someone who’s no longer here.
Or as a reflection of your home’s or office’s “personality.”
Or a representation of you and another person as a combined unit (pair three of their traits with three of yours and make the Youquet of you two!).
It can be a wall hanging for a child’s bedroom, one that can even change over time as the child’s personality matures. (Speaking of maturing, we all bring forth or push back different traits over time as we learn and grow, so a Youquet made this year might not be the same as the one you’d make next year — whether it’s for a child, an adult friend, yourself, or even your relationship.)
A fun idea might be for each person attending a party (say a bachelor/ette party or a shower) to create a Youquet for the person of honor, who’ll then get to see all the different qualities the friends notice in them. If everyone took a camera snapshot, they’d all be basically the same — but “pictures” of the humanity within will show a fascinating variety!
The reasons for a Youquet are about as numerous as the millions of unique arrangements that can be made with the flowers in our flower bank.
Youquet is a trait-based flower arrangement, so your choices are traits, not flowers. You might love a copper rose, but if the person or place the Youquet is for doesn’t have jealousy as a feature, the flower wouldn’t make sense. Fortunately, if you get a flower you don’t like, you can replace that flower and its associated trait with another that’s equally accurate.
The build-your-own feature allows you to create fully unique Youquets. Choose personality traits, background colors, font colors, the tint and tone of the flowers themselves, and whether and what text appears on the sides to identify the arrangement’s title or recipient.
The Myers-Briggs Youquets, based on descriptions of each MB type, are pre-made (designed and built by Kris) and are available only on a parchment and/or transparent background for immediate download.
We don’t accept returns on digital images. So if you’re designing a Youquet yourself, don’t forget to proofread any text you implement on the sides before moving on to create the floral arrangement. (Don’t worry — a pop-up will remind you.)
No. AI was not used in the creation of our Youquets. Each stem was individually selected from among images made available by the artists for purchase or licensing — and the arrangements were shaped one stem at a time.
